Sickchill: Still having issues pulling torrent files from torrentproject.se - can pull with wget

What you did: Updated to the latest release, but still having the same issue.

What happened: After updating to the latest release, I noticed that the GenericProvider.py script was changed from using torcache to torrentproject. However, I am still having the same issue where none of the providers are able to pull the torrent file. It could be related to a wait time, but I am unsure. It seems that the file is there on torrentproject.se but it appears to timeout. I get back a 404 error message for btdig and thetorrent pulls.

What you expected: I was able to pull the torrent using wget from a terminal, but SR seems to still have an issue pulling the file through the search.

I'm having a similar issue. Unable to download any torrents for about a week now. I'm also running the latest version.

If the torrent isn't avaiable in any caching site ofc it won't be abe to download it

@duramato the strange thing is it seems to be happening for every show that aired last week.

torcache used to have a huge archive, all other caching sites i know of are smaller than it hence all of the 404s.
My recommendation for now would be, only use blackhole if you really need to.

I switched to blackhole because labels in qBittorrent quit working a while back. will try again.

swicthing from black hole to a specific torrent provider e.g. transmission worked for me as well. i guess blackhole is currently not working until somethin like torcache comes back

Its the fact of existing alternatives, becouse they exist, but rather an archive of .torrent as big as torcache's one

Switching from Blackhole fixed it for mine as well. I never used it in the past because I couldn't get it working with my previous setup. However it seems to be working now. The first show it missed was able to be snatched.

As the OP: Switching from blackhole worked for me as well. I am now able to grab torrents Kay fine. Seems to be a link issue, as in SR not following the links for the files.

As a follow up... since I can't use blackhole, qbittorrent can't seperate my shows and movies folder for downloading based on category. I am running headless linux...which application are you guys using that can move files based on category/tag?

@askinallquestions I use rtorrent, you can configure it to move files to specific directories based on a torrents label.

The premisse is: it's needed for blackhole

In practice we want a magnet link, becouse they work truh proxies and such and are more reliaable than depending on a 3rd party for a .torrent.
We use rarbg's api , which does not provide .torrent links , only magnets, and many sites don't provide a .torrent download link, TPB is an example.
