Sevtech-ages: Would you consider adding in vanillapantry mod?

I like how the gameplay is going so far (amazing work), yet I feel like the foodstuffs feel a bit lacking. Would you consider adding in vanilla pantry mod? It's quite compatible, and mostly utilizes existing food items in the game to create new ones. It also fits with the overall theme of the modpack, with many steps to craft the items.

For worldgen it adds rock salt and sodium bicarb, which shouldn't be that intrusive.

It seems to work fine in my single player world so far. Only had to update nutrition mod, since it added support for it in the last version (3.1.0).

Or any other foodstuffs mod would be appreciated, because to me, it's one of the most fun part of the game. Probably is for other players as well.

No worries. :3

Only part that is hard to manage is the dairy requirement added by the newest version of nutrition. Because milk is stage 3. By the way, why is milk stage 3? As a sentient block of cheese, I am offended by these walls erected between me and my fellow dairy products. :P

With the current issues with oreGen this may be problematic to add two more items to worldGen.
It appears at current, Vanilla Food Pantry is specific which OreDictionay Salt they accept (https://github.com/Wabbit0101/mods_hoardercraft/issues/19), and SevTech already generates two kinds of salt, one VFP doesn't seem to accept (Mekanism), I do not know about the other.
(I'm not a dev or anything, and of course Darkosto would have more informed view on this, but I just wanted to bring these points to you @cheesealmighty so as to not get your hopes up, I like the idea but know that Darkosto had a vision and goal with the way he brought food into the mix <3)

Mekanism salt seems compatible right now, apart from 2 recipes and it can be bypassed by a lossy conversion (Mekanism salt-> 4 bit o' salt, then, 6 bit o salt-> 1 VFP salt). It's fully compatible with primal core salt.

good to know, i couldn't test at all here form work, just wanted to try and help :)

Stage 3? Dang. I know iron buckets are stage 2, but I would have expected it would be stage 2 at the latest. Perhaps since iron buckets of milk and all that? I'd like to see clay buckets or even bladders of milk if it's possible.

Clay buckets of milk are stage 3 as well. _Believe me I tried._ It's probably an oredict thing.

@cheesealmighty, dairy has been in Nutrition since day 1. SevTech modified the configs to remove it (presumably there weren't enough dairy foods).

My suggestion would be to revert to the Nutrition configs included with the pack, then copy the new entries for VanillaFoodPantry so they're fully up to date.

Little bit of work, but should solve the dairy problem for you.

@WesCook Oh. My bad then. But I've found a workaround (albeit a bug), that enables me to get some cheese(i.e. You can craft with items that are not in your stage, even though you can't have them selected in your hotbar).

But this'll be good for future reference, thanks.
