Server: LOAD feeds empty frames if ffmpeg producer isn’t ready quickly enough

If a file is already playing on a layer there will be a flash of empty frame before the first frame of next file is displayed.

Strange, that was a issue in an earlier release of 2.2 especially if you didn't load but just played, but that was solved last week. Are you using the latest version. What kind of file is you playing?

I see in the title of the issue this is about LOAD, and I can confirm this. @ronag

Ahhhhh, it's because LOAD does not go through a transition producer.

@5opr4ni @TomKaltz is this a big problem for you? I can't see an easy way around this without having other negative consequences such as block AMCP until first frame.

This doesn’t hurt any of my projects I just think it’s an edge that can be smoothed.

how about adding PAUSE token to PLAY that starts the producer in paused mode....that way it will go through the transition producer and operate like the old functionality in 2.0.7
