Hi Everyone,
i would propose to add an Textarea to the Theming Settings Page where Admins can add additional CSS Code.
This would allow Admins to apply small Modifications/Overwrites on the existing Theme, rather the need to create/copy/maintain an own "complete" Theme in the Filesystem.
BR,
Frank
More something for an app instead of an addition for the current theming-app, isn't it? @jancborchardt @juliushaertl
Own App? Sounds like overkill 馃樅
I would also prefer to have an extra app. Here is a simple PoC for that https://github.com/juliushaertl/theming_customcss
Any reason not to have a seperate app for that, @nextcloud/theming ?
Well, all this having separate apps is really against our design guideline of having few settings, only where they make sense. Basically instead of checkboxes, we would then have apps to enable/disable. So I鈥檓 highly against doing a separate app for this like every little thing.
@juliushaertl right, publishing as an App makes sense after all. The core theming functionality is enough for most people. And this way with an app people have the possibility for more, and we keep the core lean.
You want to go ahead and publish it in the app store @juliushaertl? :) cc @MariusBluem
