Can you tell us why this won't work on self-hosted, and if you have a plan for enabling it for self-hosted?

Looking at the code in here, I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work. Where do you see that notice? Or what happens when you try to set it up for onpremise?

Sentry doesn’t show up in Settings > Integrations on my teams [self-hosted] Sentry account, which is the only direct way I’m aware of to connect the two services.

Oh. I’m not sure then. The code in here doesn’t seem to imply this, but it might be something on our newer stuff. It seems to be different than what’s in this repository.

There are some networking and configuration challenges we need to figure out for the different on-prem permutations, to make these new platform integrations work.

One of the problems, for example, is that SaaS Clubhouse wouldn't know where to send requests to reach your on-prem Sentry or Sentry won't know where to send requests to reach your on-prem . That all needs to be configurable in some user-friendly way.

We're planning on making this easy and straight forward, we just haven't gotten there yet.
