In similar fashion to Github, it would be nice if there was a code embed element as part of Semantic.
I imagine it having the line number on the left hand side, as well as a title bar and probably most importantly, language specific syntax highlighting. It seems that most of the building blocks for this exist already in Semantic, except for the line number and syntax highlighting.
This is an example of what I'm talking about:

I could see building a set of UI around a forked version of a mature library like highlight.js
Yeah, plus highlight.js already has a buttload of color themes available for it so that can be easily configured with Semantic's build tools.

If you would go for ace9, you would also get such features as code folding and completion. I believe, it's used by github, too.
