Specifying inverted color to dropdown menu is not working. Neither add classes in its parent menu nor itself.
Error is reproduced here http://jsfiddle.net/4eL713ax/3/

Did the "quick fix" mentioned earlier get reverted? I can't seem to find any trace of it in the current source. Is there a workaround for this?
There has been no activity in this thread for 90 days. While we care about every issue and we鈥檇 love to see this fixed, the core team鈥檚 time is limited so we have to focus our attention on the issues that are most pressing. Therefore, we will likely not be able to get to this one.
However, PRs for this issue will of course be accepted and welcome!
If there is no more activity in the next 90 days, this issue will be closed automatically for housekeeping. To prevent this, simply leave a reply here. Thanks!
This issue still exists in 2.3.1
Yeah, is there any work around solution as of now?
Any target dates for solution?

Same question
As a workaround I just created a specific CSS on the most selective case I could and put the properties there.

Another workaround:
add as={Menu.Item}
e.g.,
<Dropdown
as={Menu.Item}
defaultValue={defaultLanguage}
button
className="icon"
icon="world"
options={languageOptions}
selection
/>

inversion works well but does not set font to white.. changed the color to black and cannot see any text

Use ui inverted dropdown item instead of a black menu. Then the text is white as expected
