The new basic labels are super useful; However, I have noticed they don't work well as tag labels.
<div class="ui tag label"> looks well
<div class="ui basic label"> looks well
<div class="ui basic tag label"> looses the front part and gets ugly.
I have checked mine 2.0 and the version on semantic official website and the issue seems to appear in both. I consider tag labels with toggled basic/normal mode perfect for filtering UI - that's how I got there.
Its very clear that basic tag label is not supported.
Unfortunately this would be a substantial amount of additional css to label. I'll have to evaluate this.
Just ran into this, I was looking to use colored tag labels along with "basic" to indicate active/inactive state. I'll just use "regular" labels for now, but tagged ones have a nice visual flare for my use case (which I can explain in further detail if needed).
I also was just going to ask for this. :+1:
Looks like the styling is already half way there, just needs the pointer color to match.

Bump (due to the stale bot). Would still be a useful enhancement.
