Sails: Locking Issues is and Act of Barbarism

Issue #3429 was locked by @particlebanana, interrupting this way a nice discussion (essentially taping the mouths of the other persons).

That's a sad thing.

But then, @mikermcneil (project lead) comments in this locked issue, which means essentially:

He talks "To bring some closure to this issue", whilst the other persons have "taped mouths" (they cannot comment).

Hahaha! Man, thanks for this great contribution to the community.

First, taking care of a big open source project is not easy at all, so try to show some respect for the people that are working on it (barbarism?disgusting?missing leadership?).

Second, that issue that they locked (more than a year ago!!) was more a personal attack on the maintainers of Sails than a real issue. And yes, some points were legitim to complain/ask about, essentially if you look the first comment, but from that point the issue degenerated a lot.

I don't understand what are you achieving with this issue. It's just your opinion, okay I got that and I respect it, but what's the goal? You're not giving any advice or any help. It's easy to complain about other people's work or complain how do they manage the project, but I think that you should think if you're helping or just being annoying.

P.S: Maybe you should check the meaning of barbarism in the dictionary
