Open the url in an incognito browser and see what it shows. Usually this indicates it redirected to the login page for example.

It's very simple, I would suspect the error simply occurs when the indexer is experiencing issues or it's down for maintenance and the feed is temporarily unavailable.

Then why has this warning only started appearing now? I've been using DogNZB for about 10 years, and yes - they have their fair share of downtime, but it never resulted in this before.

Maybe because SABnzbd introduced the warning? Just like https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/issues/1631 ?

In 3.1.0 I changed the error handling (because feedparser module did), so now when scheduled readouts fail we actually notify the user of the failure. Before the fees readout could fail for weeks without notifying the user..
But this is indeed a side effect: unreliable feeds will cause warnings to show. You can disable the warnings by disabling in Config Specials the switch helpful_warnings.
