Runelite: 2005 Interface - Chat Box not changed

Great update today 5/24/2018.

The option for the 2005 interface should also change the text box because that is major part of the theme itself. Can the 2005 interface setting be updated to change the chat box as well.

This was left out because the 2005 interface chatbox shows less chat than the current one, and so it becomes very hard to make the old sprite work without either photoshopping it to look wrong or doing a lot of work to try and realign and limit the number of chat lines.

Its just that classic the teared paper look is so nostalgic :)

It doesn't have to be exact like the 2005 one! A photoshopped one that isn't exact but still encompasses the same amount of lines would be awesome.

There should be ways to crop the chatbox so you can read everything. Konduit used to have this feature and it worked, so this should be possible if someone wanted to work on it

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Im not a fan of the way the chatbox looks and I would prefer a toggle option
that shows the old chatbox which will make the interface official instead of looking
like its pasted on the OSRS gameframe.

The exact chatbox from 2005 being implemented.
What I dont want is a konduit clone their version is not original and the chatbox looks horrible.
If its possible when you click the trade/compete button
add a feature that caters to the clanchat if thats not possible im ok with it bare bones.

Additional context
Add the original chatbox bare bones to fit the theme.. if its possible add a feature for the clanchat that will work when you click trade/compete.

There is another interface that should be changed to match the 2005 style, the equipment screen:

And the stats screen should have the box down at the bottom showing your quest points, total level, and combat level, as shown here:

The prayer page had something similar too:

When a prayer was not being moused over, it just said the prayer points in that location similar to how the game does now:

A pipe dream of mine would be to have the 2005 inventory icons for any items that had different ones back them too, like runes, potions, logs, and sharks.

An even bigger dream would be replacing certain enemy models with 2005 models, imps, demons, and giants come to mind.

The only thing I can't find is a screen of what the old preferences panel looks like! I'm sure someone has one, can anyone post it here?

The current "updated" chat box doesn't look high quality like the way RuneLite is known for. The un-updated chat box looked better than what we have now.

I went ahead came up with my design below

I was also able to contact Sebas and was shown how it would look in game

Imo it looks better than the current updated model. Consider this design as I feel it looks higher quality and matches the client's hard work and attention to detail.

I'd recommend continuing with a new issue to request a better 2005 interface chatbox. This particular issue has been resolved.
