Created on 8 Nov 2013  路  3Comments  路  Source: rubocop-hq/rubocop

Apology first, but couldn't find any info on this.
Whenever i run rubocop, the first chars it prints are:

.CWCCCCC.CCCCCCCCCCCCWWWCC.C..

What does those mean? The ., W, C?

Most helpful comment

The letters correspond to the problems found in the file under inspection.

  • C is for convention
  • W is for warning
  • E is for error
  • F is for fatal
  • . means that no problems were found in the file

@bbatsov Thanks.
On the same line, in current release of 0.15.0, there is a new cop CyclomaticComplexity

I added this cop as :

...
CyclomaticComplexity:
  Enabled: true
....

in yml file and ran. But I didn't see any report on this cop?
Is it the way to use it?

I see @jonas054 has answered your second question in another issue, so I'll close this ticket.
