Rubberduck: Edit VBA code syntax colors

Created on 10 Aug 2019  路  2Comments  路  Source: rubberduck-vba/Rubberduck

Justification
Currently, code editors allow you to customize the colors of the code syntax, allowing it to be more readable and faster to identify elements such as variables, functions, text among others.

Description
Although VBE already has this feature, I think it is very basic and has few options to customize in addition to being a little confusing the way to customize.

I would like this feature to be improved and to better customize the visualization of the code.

Additional context
VBE current syntax colors

That's planned, we "just" need to make and inject our own code panes and hijack the debugger and IntelliSense, and then we can theme it any way we like!

Not going to lie, this is very cool but unlikely to happen any time soon. Known tools that enhance the theming of the VBE do so by literally rewriting VBE7.DLL, something that's just a wee bit too invasive for a plug-in to do.
