It seems that this project don't have any active maintainers, where they?
By stalking @ryanflorence's twitter account and Github profile, it looks like he's been spending the last month or so on conferences and running workshops. According to this tweet, it looks like he'll be heads down in some code next month, which hopefully will involve closing out some Reach Router PRs.
GatsbyJS just adopted Reach Router as their router of choice, so I doubt the project is dead.
But I'm just another user crossing my fingers that this project stays alive!
Check out Ryan's update in Spectrum from Nov 17

Great! Thank you for information! :+1:
@pitops If you read that update in spectrum, he mentioned "early next year" and by March/April he will be asking for development help. So it's still early to say it's dead
Half year passed by, no update, is it really dead?
It's time to fork, anyone volunteer for an active fork ?

For those of us ending up here, the projects are essentially merging in react router v5 https://reacttraining.com/blog/reach-react-router-future/
Now I use https://github.com/Paratron/hookrouter, think it's a better alternative to any other router
