Rocket.chat: Users are duplicating in auto completes and searches

Description:

Users are autocompleting in searches twice.

Steps to reproduce:

Start typing a name in search or in an autocomplete
See duplicated users.

Expected behavior:

1 user, no duplicate.

Actual behavior:

I see similar behavior on 3.7.1 as well... the person is in "not in channel" list even when they are.

I think the first one, as stated in the end of the line or a mouse over bubble, is suggestion from the recent messages. The second one is a general search result. But the third, not in channel is shown even when the person is a already member on the channel.

I see similar behavior on 3.7.1 as well... the person is in "not in channel" list even when they are.

Some more info about that issue.
You get duplicate in search only users, that you have conversations with.
If you a search user that you have not chat before - that user appears once, no duplicate.
So, I guess - one entry is from servers search result, and one entry from local cache.
@ggazzo @tassoevan please take a look at that issue.

Same here (v3.7.1). Sometimes the user shows 3 or 4 times on private group mentions.
My guess for the sources of duplication would be:

From recent messages
From DM conversation
From the private group user list
From global user list
