Rocket.chat: Random string of characters when sending `\([]\)`

This is not a very complicated issue, I just have a simple question. When I send `\([]\)` to anyone, on any channel. I get this weird string of characters (=!=tzLPMZngtWTMZNuXb=!=). Can someone explain this to me.
