Rocket.chat: Nothing is happening when I launch click the Jitsi camera in Rocket Chat

I noticed that Jitsi works great in firefox. Chrome and IE do not.

It does not work for me in any browser. It was working up until two days ago and then stopped working.

Can you give a screenshot of what its doing to you? I have noticed some bad UI things happening, but the audio video worked just fine. So sounds like we might not be experiencing the same issue.

This is very strange. I found the solution. For some reason I needed to
delete the rooms / channels and then re-create them for jitsi to start
working again.

Any idea what would cause this ?

I also upgraded to the newest version but the UI is much worse than
previous versions. The video is very small and awkwardly placed. Are
efforts being made to improve this ?

This sounds like a recent migration might have failed. @RocketChat/core anyone have thoughts on that?

As to the UI yes we are aware. A lot of CSS changes are being made, unfortunately effecting that.

What version of Rocket.Chat are you on currently?

Any update here? I have't heard anything in days. Jitsi is no longer working in the new channels that I created.

@mbcote1111 unfortunately this one did not get resolved in time for this new release. I would suggest how ever checking out the open in new window feature.

Goto: Admin->Video Conference

Toggle this to True. Now when you click it, it'll just pop it out into a new window. We'll get this resolved though.

That would be super helpful for us as we really want to use jitsi, But I cant see the new window option in ours (Running 48.2)
