I recently upgraded from Robomongo 0.9.0-RC9 to Robo3T 1.1.1, and the new UI looks much worse than the previous UI on Linux. I am running on Kubuntu 16.04 with the Plasma desktop. All images seem to be oversized but scaled up from a very small source image, and the menus in the new version are oversized and cut off as well.

I've tried wiping my config in case something imported wrong, but no change.
Same here, my laptop is an Asus Zenbook UX303UB with a 3200x1800 display. I'm running Elementary OS Loki (Ubuntu 16.04) with LightDM. Icons seem stretched and blurry, making the whole application seem amateurish. This seems to be linked to https://github.com/Studio3T/robomongo/issues/1375. Maybe @nikarul you should post your findings there.
This is still an issue with Robo3T 1.2.1.
I also encounter this problem after upgrading from Mint 18 to 19.
Try set the QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR environment variable:
add export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1 in e.g. ~/.profile
Source: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HiDPI#Qt_5
Now the UI looks as good as before.
QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 ./robo3t helped me on Mint 18.3
QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 ./robo3thelped me on Mint 18.3
works perfectly in Ubuntu 18.04.
There is still the same issue today ;).
