Steps to see what I'm talking about:
Currently, you click the image TV "dropdown", then you can see the contents of the folder (assets/images). You can upload files, the dialog says "Ok", but the images do not immediately appear in the browser. Refreshing the TREE does nothing to refresh the contents of that folder. So you actually have to click the FOLDER in order for your newly uploaded image to appear. There is VERY little chance a client will ever understand this hidden little caveat.
It is necessary to refactor this behavior so the contents of that folder refresh after upload.
Even better would be a button next to the image TV "dropdown" that would launch the file uploader _immediately_ and let the user select exactly ONE file for the TV. That would be a huge improvement.

+1 This has been bugging me for quite some time. But, not only that. In some cases the wrong folder content is initially shown and the user needs to click on 'Files' to force the browser to show the correct folder content for that media source. Is anyone else seeing this?

Yes, this is an issue with 2.2.4-pl. It would be great if the name of the media source displayed on the left, instead of 'Files'. It seems to work this way when opening the MODX Browser.

+1. It needs to be refactored.
