Just a heads up to anyone who is expecting to receive replies on their issues, this project is definitely dead it seems.

@mgrenier @jpxd It's been a while since I've maintained my own open source project, but I don't mind volunteering my time to help this project out with bug fixes, issue tracking, & feature requests.

"definitely" and "it seems" … hmm That's an oxymoron. Do you care to elaborate why you _think_ this? Maybe you're being a little impatient.

Yeah, I've got to agree about the state of the project:

I'm debating adding some features to this project (which is working well for me so far), or just using another.

@dogweather Well, that's unfortunate. I came to this repo only a few months ago after searching out the options and I felt this was the best, at least at the time. Maybe someone could revive it… But if you do choose another project, please let us know which.

@dallanlee I forked this repo and tried out a code change I'd wanted: opening a file on a single-click, like the standard file tree does. Not too hard to implement.

But I've found a totally different setup that works well: Using the Transmit Disk feature to mount my remote Linux volume, and then running Atom on it in standard "local" mode. This has been very reliable and fast.

Thanks for the info, @dogweather

From time to time I try to look after the PRs but I don't really have time for the project since I am not using Atom actively anymore...
I would like to add new collaborators but only @mgrenier is capable of doing that...
e.g. @jimmaaay would be a good new collaborator

@jpxd What are you using instead of Atom?

Same issue. Now using Visual Studio code since a change of environment so don't have time to manage this.

Well, I still use the plugin everyday, works for my needs and don't plan to put more time than I already have.

I'm definitly a noob at open source project or github and if you know how can I elect a new lead, please do tell me. Also, I don't know if contributors can push update to the Atom Package repository?

@jpxd Thanks for the recommendation :)

@mgrenier Yes, collaborators can publish new releases :)
And I'm using Visual Studio Code too ^^

So I guess the question is then, who wants to assist with this project? Put your name forward, quick check to make sure you can actually program then @mgrenier can add additional collaborators

I suggest

@jimmaaay: sends nice PRs and seems to have an understanding of the codebase

@hatzopoulos: seems to read the issues and could close duplicates himself if he was a collaborator

@jimmaaay and @hatzopoulos are invited and it's on their hand to accept the position or not.

If others comes forward and want to help the project, I'll invite them too.

@mgrenier Thanks for the invite, I accepted it a second ago :)

Thanks for the suggestion @jpxd.

@mgrenier Sure, I don't mind helping out.

@mgrenier give @samifouad collaborator access?

@samifouad has been invited to this project. Thank you for your time and interest all.

I gladly accept. Thanks! :)

Fantastic. I think this project is in good hands.
