I really liked the UI with ImGui, and especially the Save State option, but in previous versions of reicast build, when I pressed select on the ps2 gamepad, the menu allowed to be controlled by the dpad of the game pad, but with this new menu ImGui so I can access his options with a mouse, which forces me to have a mouse installed together to use reicast, it would be possible to access this new menu with the dpad of the gamepad x-input.
This is a work-in-progress. Gamepads are not yet supported.
What platform are you on?

MXIII-G - Android 5.1.1 - DDR3 2GB RAM+16GB 32Bits
CPU: Amlogic S812 Quad Core up to 2.0GHz (Cortex-A9)
GPU: Octa core ARM Mali-450 GPU up to 600MHz \ OpenGL 2.0 ES
Thanks for the details. Let me know how this new UI works for you. Currently only mouse and touchscreen are supported but Gamepad will follow.

I can already report two bugs playing with 7d4fa31 build, with the Mortal Kombat Gold game, the first was already expected, when using the save state and a load state, the game loses the background audio, leaving only a sound in place and the second, when I finished the game with Scorpion, after appearing his closing CG, reicast locked and left for the desktop android menu.
The last build c02bb91 is bugged after installing it has no way to use anything in reicast and it locks and closes sosino, when you click the game or try to go in the settings.
Not sure what happened with build c02bb91. Hopefully later builds will work better.
I added gamepad support in my last commit.
I haven't been able to reproduce the issues with Mortal Kombat Gold: the background music is still there after a load state. And I haven't experienced any crash.
I'm running in 64-bit mode so that may make a difference.
If you have more details on these issues let me know

I did the tests with the buid 82f156f, and the results, my system is 32bits and my GPU is Open Gl 2.0 ES:
Game pad on the menu = is running 100% without crashes
Save State and Load State = Running normal, but after doing a 5 or 6 save state the time to make a save state takes about 5 seconds to about 20 seconds
I managed to finish the Mortal Kombat Gold with Scropion without locking after the end of the game
One thing I do not know is if it would be possible to create a texture caching system, a file that stores the tests previously, which would make it easier for weaker GPU devices, not need in fighting games for dynamical examples to have to render heavier graphics.
A possibility to lower resolution 320x240, 480x360, 640x480 ....
It would be interesting for each programmer to use a different database in their version of reicast, to be able to install more than one version of reicast in the android at the same time, type for me to test your version and the beta version of reicast need to uninstall one and install the another, the good thing would be to have both installed on the android to compare.
A hug and congratulations for the great work that has done leaving the reicast better and better
