Fixes with @dariofedes comment. Should be cool if it's added to documentation.

However, i'll let you here the code of gradle.properties and build.gradle code, if there is any problem with a version conflict or something like that:

IDE (e.g. Android Studio) users:

Gradle settings configured through the IDE will override

any settings specified in this file.

For more details on how to configure your build environment visit

Specifies the JVM arguments used for the daemon process.

The setting is particularly useful for tweaking memory settings.

Default value: -Xmx10248m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m

org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx2048m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8

When configured, Gradle will run in incubating parallel mode.

This option should only be used with decoupled projects. More details, visit

Hi,
Are you sure it鈥檚 related to the library ?

Hi!
It crashes just when installing this library. I tried to install other ui libraries to see if the problem came from muy project but worked properly. The other one which crashes as the same way was the react-native-firebase/analytics one...
So maybe the bug is related to Firebase. Moreover, i will continue searching for a solution and leave the solution here.
Please, if it is a bug related to you or this , and you could help me, i will be really appreciate! 馃槃

Can you provide the content of android/gradle.properties ? (remove secrets if any)
Also the content of android/app/build.gradle, at least "keys":

  • android.splits
  • android.buildTypes
    (remove secrets if any)

Had the same problem and solved it by adding multiDexEnabled true inside defaultConfig in android/app/build.gradle. Nevertheless, I've read this may not be a good practice, but not sure of it. Can somebody confirm it?

Fixes with @dariofedes comment. Should be cool if it's added to documentation.
Thanks! 馃槃

However, i'll let you here the code of gradle.properties and build.gradle code, if there is any problem with a version conflict or something like that:

Solution by @dariofedes worked for me as well. Any idea whether this is a good approach or not?

Thanks @dariofedes ,the solution worked for me as well
