I've been using an old version of this library with my own modifications.
Lately i've seen cool PRs here that need to be merged.
I will either help here, or make a fork and update it often. It is best to use this one, because it's the original.
@DylanVann Lets do a development branch and do the merging there. And see how it goes?
@adderly Any update?
@WrathChaos I was giving time to the owner to answer, i guess i'll send an email to him and see if he answers.
Can you fix the height of the image when returning after loading on android, the height is the height of the view, not the height of the image itself.
Can you fix it
@WrathChaos He seems to be inactive for months. We could move a fork of this project to https://github.com/react-native-community and maintain it there.
Well i've been merging some of the PRs in my fork, but as long as it's updated and alive i can maintain it.
I need some help choosing the CI related stuff, which are the best way to set it up?
@adderly Most people are using CircleCI. Some of them use Jenkins but it requires lots of configuration. Also, can you post the fork link? One more thing, what do you think about moving this repo to the community?
I see github has its out CI, i need to see how to do it. We can move it there i really don't mind where it is as long as it's easy to maintain.
Thank you @adderly , I will check it out

How can we accomplish this? This is an invaluable library and its a shame to see it not updated.
@adderly I'm experiencing reliability issues with the cache. Please let me know when you have your updates merged into master on your fork.
@doug-stritt can you elaborate a bit? I'm evaluating whether to rely on this libraries caching abilities for offline functionality or to make my own system...
I recommend that we fix any problems with the library, so that it serves for the greater good in humanity. We either move it to the community repos (which i have no role in) or use mine. I'll happily review pulls and fix accordingly.
@adderly The project was updated this week! (good news)
Bad news is that @DylanVann converted the entire project to typescript overnight, and now anything you may have merged feature wise will be in conflict. Do you have your fork published to NPM? Tired of dead silence on PRs and issues, and no process around this very important repo
@adderly @doug-stritt @hamidfzm @allthetime @WrathChaos
I have created my own npm package since I wanted to add functionalities. I can add people as maintainers.
