Not upgraded to DraftJS last version.
Author is mostly working on another similar repo using a different framework than Draft.js, it seems like:
Hi @jpuri, is this true? will the repo not longer be maintained?
But Nib does not seem to be nowhere near @mikeappell , I have react-draft-wysiwyg all over my project and I have not found any suitable alternative yet..
@jpuri Could you give us a quick hint, if and when this repo is maintained an updated? :)
Better switch to this project !

working like a charm
What if she quit from new project too? =)
Hi All,
My apologies for being away from the project for long. Maintaining an open source like this is much work and at times you miss on things juggling between priorities.
My plan is to upgrade React Draft Wysiwyg soon to support latest version of React and Draft, I do not plan to add many new features or changes to the lib - as I see limitation in DraftJS, prosemirror is definitely a better framework for test editing and I will focus on building new features in Nib.
I would appreciate users to come up with sponsoring projects like this and Nib, for Nib option to buy licence is also available. It at times become burning out for authors to manage paid work and maintain bigger projects like these.
I hope to release updated version of React Draft Wysiwyg within this week.
I browsed the Nib pages and was unable to find out the cost of the license it mentions.
It would be fine to set it clear before switching.
Another unanswered question is if Nib works nice inside React pages, this is the reason I chose Draft (and perhaps many others).
Here are details for licensing: http://www.nibedit.com/index.html#/License, even if you are using free version of the lib I would appreciate sponsoring it.
Nib works perfect with React, it is misconception many have that only DraftJS work well for text editing with React. Many other libs / frameworks work well with React.
Hi @jpuri, all your work is very much appreciated – this library is awesome and has been incredibly helpful for us. Totally understand that this is a side project for you, so no worries 😃
react-draft-wysiwyg:1.14.0 is new version of lib.
nice!
but problem https://github.com/jpuri/react-draft-wysiwyg/issues/853 sill exists :(
Oh, I will fix this also soon.
Thx
Thanks @jpuri for taking time to fix these issues. I've just created a pull request renaming a few unsafe methods to avoid a few other warnings. Could you take a look on it? Thanks!
Still cannot copy/paste images. This results in fatal error / blank screen.
Uncaught Invariant Violation: Unknown DraftEntity key: null.
hi @jpuri, react-draft-wysiwyg:1.14.4 still has this error, when you try to copy/paste images
Error: invariant(...): Second argument must be a string.
It would be useful to change the state of this project in deprecated on the main page, if not maintained anymore.
