React-big-calendar: Resizing event to one day

What's the current behavior?

Cannot shrink the event to one day unless the start date (left drag) has been modified. then the event is allowed to reduce to one day.

What's the expected behavior?

Should be allowed to shrink to one day with out modifying the start date.

I beleieve someone has attempted to fix this but i dont believe these changes have been added to the releases. https://github.com/jquense/react-big-calendar/pull/1169
