Hi if no one has picked this issue, can I work on it?

I am not sure there is an easy way to do this, but I don't think anyone is working on this yet 馃槂

I would like to pick it then. Can you guide where to pick the pull request from.

Will an implementation of something like this be appropriate?

@mehta-a @mukulkhanna any interest in still implementing this?

@akelad Yes!

Will an implementation of something like this be appropriate?

Please let me know about this ^

it may work, you'd have to look into how sklearn training happens, i'm not sure you could a numeric estimate out of e.g. the number of epochs it uses

Hey @akelad , @JustinaPetr
I would like to pick this up if no one is working on this issue.

Go for it, I don鈥檛 think anyone is working on it yet. Looking forward to seeing your contribution!

Thank you, @akelad. Very excited for my first contribution at Rasa.
Whom should I ask my queries (if any) regarding this issue?

you can just post on this issue and we'll get back to you

@akelad I started on this issue but can't figure out where to start. Can you please provide a bit more information?

this is about providing a progress bar for training the sklearn intent classifier. Not sure what other information you need? This is quite a difficult issue I think, so you may be better off trying out a different issue if you're not sure how to do this one?

Give me a week or two. I like solving challenging issues!

alright, let us know how it goes!

hi @akelad
The progress bar is not supported for GridSearchCV by sklearn but we can get dots for iterations as shown below-

Please let me know if i can make the changes to the code and and raise a PR.

Thanks

hmm that may make things a little messy, so i would say no
