Rancher: crypto/rsa: verification error" while trying to verify candidate authority certificate "kube-ca"

Getting this error from the worker nodes.

E0320 14:31:22.836844 7533 reflector.go:205] k8s.io/kubernetes/pkg/client/informers/informers_generated/internalversion/factory.go:73: Failed to list *api.Service: Get https://127.0.0.1:6443/api/v1/services?resourceVersion=0: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority (possibly because of "crypto/rsa: verification error" while trying to verify candidate authority certificate "kube-ca")

is this because it's trying to use old certs from precious installation attempts?
I have deleted /var/lib etcd etcd2 kubelet and removed all containers before rerunning the Rancher Master and setup up a new cluster.

The Nodes are in status: waiting to register with Kubernetes

PRETTY_NAME="Container Linux by CoreOS 1632.3.0 (Ladybug)"
|Versions|Rancher v2.0.0-alpha21 UI: v2.0.25 |
|Access|local admin|
|Route|authenticated.cluster.index|
