Rainloop-webmail: Provide Carddav URL through Admin Panel

Created on 10 Mar 2016  路  4Comments  路  Source: RainLoop/rainloop-webmail

Hi there!

I love the simplicity and function of Rainloop. Thanks for your wonderful work!

Checking it out for my server (zarafa with sabre-dav for carddav) I missed the possibility to provide a server/domain specific carddav url for all users on that server. The credentials are the same as for the mail accounts.

The URL to the address book is
https://domain/carddav/addressbooks/mailbox_username/name_of_folder

It's a rough job explaining to all my family members, what they have to change in their settings ;)

Thanks, Marti

I miss this too. A per-domain configuration for DAV url and possibly automatic activation for every user on that domain while (optionally) giving the user an opt-out possibility.

It would be nice to have this as an addition to Contact sync rather than replacement in terms of allowing the user to have multiple DAV servers set up.

Yeah this is really needed

Second this, it's really a must to simplify administration

Maybe one of the maintainers/contributors can say if this feature request can be accomplished, if fits in the roadmap (does not seem like it is part of it yet :) ) and what would be the basic steps to make this work?

Maybe this can be done with a Plugin also?

Depending on how much work it is I might be able to work on it.
