Feature request
Show and manage related movies if an already added/downloaded movie belongs to a collection. Perhaps show the collections when adding a new movie as well.

feature request low

Hope the devs don't mind me jumping in here for a bit of advertising, but while this is an active feature request, a few months back I wrote a python script that is designed to do everything you are after called Radarr Collections. It's a command line single scan script only but can be set to run periodically in the background using the OS job scheduler to keep sync and have new items in collections added automatically into Radarr.

Definitely agree this is a must-feature, especially when dealing with so many others libraries who already have that format for their existing library (It would be nice if this were to properly handle putting them into the existing collections)

+1 to this request

As an interim solution, could it be possible to at least scrape the movie set into the nfo file from TMDB? It means no major changes to the back end afaict and no new UI needed, but at least applications like Kodi can see the movie is part of a set.

I use kodi and after switching from CP to radarr, I added my library and decided to rescrape using radarr. It lost all my movie sets.... So I had to rescrape everything again with kodi.

I also have movies that are in a set / collection in folders, but I could move those out if it means I still get the same functionality in kodi

:+1:

This allows for so many more nice features in the future:

  • Kodi has the notion of sets.
  • "Follow" a set: when a new movie of a set gets announced, they are automatically set to watched.
  • Optionally compressing the main movie list

Was just about to ask for this feature.

1+ from me.

I would be good for Radarr to complete your collections that have missing titles if you have the option to do so on, or just have a tab of collections under movies and have it point out which movies are missing from your collections.

It would suck to get half way through a collection just to realize you are missing the second to last out or 7...
