Rack: VST/AU Host within VCVRack?

Are there any plans to be able to host VST/AU plugins within VCVRack?

Appreciate that bridge is in the works for using VCVRack within a DAW, but for DAW-less workflow this would be rather mind blowing!

No plans, but I've given this some thoughts and it's entirely possibly and will happen at some point in the distant future.

Core VST effect host

• stereo input/output should suffice
• configurable param mappings via CV (no knobs). Is 8 enough?

Core VST instrument host

• stereo output
• basically needs a full-blown CV-to-MIDI inside
• also same number of param mappings
