Should we sign the python3statement.org?
I thought the site was meant for the scientific stack only, but I see other general purpose libraries in there. Given that we already have plans regarding dropping Python 2, I think it makes sense for us to add pytest there.
Any objections?
personally i consider something like pytest a important tool for scientific python - its a incredibly useful tool for ensuring useful scientific functions and utilities work as expected

The statement started out with scientific Python projects, because that community seemed ready to move forwards with Python 3 quickest, but as we gained momentum we opened it up to all projects.
