My laptop is Asus n551zu
Gpu 1 = R7 prime
Gpu 2 = R9 M280x

#

radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1
Kernel driver in use: radeon Kernel modules: radeon, amdgpu

#

radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1
Black screen
Did not help amdgpu.dc = 0

Run dmesg and check if there are any errors related to the driver.

sudo dmesg

That's not related to the AMD driver.

Please guide further

Could you paste the full dmesg output, please?

FULL dmesg

I don't see any errors related to the AMD driver.

Perhaps you have a custom X11 configuration which is bound to a specific driver?

In Manjaro, I had the same problem.
And now I have the same problem on kUbuntu

Is there something in /etc/X11/xorg.conf? Are there any files in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d?

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1 radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1 splash"

It is strange the problem was solved

Because of these errors I said, look.

No problem.

You can ignore those errors, they are fixed in Linux 4.19: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107855

Good , thanks man

You're welcome.

Hello :).

I'm having the same issue as here

hen adding the PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 in the Launch options, or using it as part of the user_settings.py, the game will seemingly be launching, but nothing will start and the "Launching" button on Steam will revert back to "Play".

I followed the instructions on the wiki page, but this is not working. (The kernel is already using the amdgpu driver)

Also is worth mention that this happens on the Sonic Generations, running on a HP laptop with AMD Radeon R7 and a Radeon 540 graphic card.
