Description

Feature request: Embed a cryptocurrency miner into the IDE to raise money for the Processing Foundation.

Expected Behavior:

When I open Processing, the IDE should mine crypto currency.

Current Behavior

The IDE does not appear to be mining cryptocurrency.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Processing IDE
2. Crypto currency is not mined

Your Environment

• Processing version: 3
• Operating System and OS version: Mac, El Capital.

Possible Causes / Solutions

This could be a version released to Ivy League institutions. To make better use of their endowments.

Perhaps #5303 is already the embedded miner overheating? 😄

Operating System and OS version: Mac, El Capital.

We don't currently support El Capital on Mac, only Capital for now. I'll make a note on the Supported Platforms page that we're more Piketty than Marx.

This should be implemented as a mode. Processing.py, Processing.R, and Processing.payments.

Yup' nice idea... they'll just have to limit mining depending on the computer's graphic card (to avoid making it burn x) ) @tegacodes I'm part of your project !
