Peekier shows you a website preview of the search results. Clicking on a result will maximize the preview. Peekier renders websites on an array of superfast servers and sends your browser a clean and efficient 40-80 KB PNG image. As websites are loaded on their servers and they only send the rendered image to your browser, they deal with malware and other threats while protecting your privacy and providing a safe and secure experience while you stay on their website. You can still choose to visit a website that interests you.

Why I am making the suggestion

While on their website, no requests to other websites or domains will be made. They do not use service that collects user data. No personally identifiable information are stored or logged on their servers. They do not store your search history. They employ HTML5 local storage to store your settings. Cloudflare, their caching provider, may use a single session cookie for anti-DDOS measures. Any websites that you visit on Peekier can only know that you clicked on a link by use of the HTTP Referrer header but cannot know what you were searching for.
Contrary to both StartPage and DuckDuckGo, Peekier doesn't inject ads in your search, which (if they are not lying about their privacy policy) should make this service trade-free.

I just discovered it, I'm posting it here hoping that someone more knowledgeable than me can check it out and determine if this search engine respects your privacy or not.

• Doesn't have an onion service
• No POST Request Support
• No DNSSEC
• Requires JS to function (No Disabled JS Support)
• No Proxy Service

I’m thinking we should probably get our search engine criteria defined before new additions are considered such as Peekier, MetaGer, and InfinitySearch (all with open issues). 🤔
