By default PT Run is launched by Alt
+ Space
, but the issue is it sometimes opens window menu instead of PT Run.
I tried Windows Key
+ Space
but it also opens keyboard layout switcher instead of PT Run sometimes. Which keyboard shortcut would you suggest for PT Run instead of default Alt
+ Space
?
I use the recommended win+r.
You can remap alt+space to win+r by using keyboard manager provided by powertoys.
If this does not work, try changing from alt space to alt p.This might help you.

Why would you remap your keyboard if the question only involves the trigger for PT Run? Just give it a different keyboard shortcut in the Settings. As for which one? I think that's a personal preference?

I know, but I couldn't found a good key combination for PT Run, so just wanted to ask community. For now I'm trying Alt
+ P
which seems good since it doesn't trigger something else like language selector or window menu.
Happy to see your problem getting solved.
I had the same issue, and by chaging to alt p, I solved my problem...
Maybe this is a bug to some PC?

we're fixing the issue with WinKey, we missed a scenario.
For we need to add in 'run as admin' windows detection as well for PT Run. Example of this would be task manager which runs elevated or hyper-v manager. We don't like the idea of PT Run running elevated since if it tells something to run, it runs elevated as well.
Closing this issue as @TheMisir opened a second more specific one.

I changed it to Win+Q because that does the same thing as Win+S and if PT Run is not active, you still have a search function.
