I never want space around zones in my custom layout.
However when moving around between the "choose your layout"-tabs and then editing my custom layout again it's somehow there again.
Please just take out "space around zones", before it learns to plays nice.
Can make video recording of it, but should be simple enough to reproduce.
Figured out how to reproduce it precisely. Simply have the setting disabled. Click "edit custom layout", don't make any changes and press "Save and Apply".
Note that the setting remains ticked off.
Video shows how it's done:

A workaround for those, who are annoyed by the space as well is the following:
Have the setting 'Show space around zones' enables but set the value for 'space around zones' to 0.
Fix available in v0.15.1 https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases
Yeah, I can actually use FancyZones now!
Before I ended up quickly uninstalling it or ignoring it, because of this bug.
The setting still can reeenable itself, but it's very rare now, so not a problem.
Can't figure out how to reproduce it even, but I guess it involves two external monitors/multiple Virtual Desktops, rebooting the OS and maybe something done in Display Settings.
