Clicking on Add a Location gives a popup. One of the options there is Search by place name. This doesn't seem to be working.

@jywarren @cesswairimu any idea why this might be happening? Initially I wasn't getting the Something went wrong error message but entering a place name was not giving any response too.
Thanks!

Hey @Manasa2850 , thanks for reporting this 馃槃
It seems like issue with google autocomplete and geocode api.
Can you update the issue description by adding screenshot of browser console? Thanks 馃挴
I think the issue is there only in local environment, I have checked on publiclab.org and I can easily search the place name without any issue. Others may confirm, but I think this issue is there because the keys or any valid credentials are not stored in local and are used in deployed apps only, though I might be wrong here :worried:
@gauravahlawat81 you could be right, some google apis do not work well if you are using http:// @Manasa2850 could you please try replicating on https://stable.publiclab.org/dashboard. Thanks all
Oh yes you're right @cesswairimu and @gauravahlawat81. It's a bug seen locally. It works fine in https://stable.publiclab.org/dashboard
I'll make sure to check in publiclab.org from next time onwards before creating an issue.
Thanks to both of you!!
@Manasa2850 can we close this issue then ?
