I came across an interesting stuff. I'm not sure whether its bug or any other thing.
In the recent notes I posted, The comment count it showed on above and the no of comments actually present in the notes were different.
The comment count here is two.

The comment count here is one.

The comment count here says three

I came across this, when I realised that the comment count is 2 in fig 1 and comment is 1 in actual in fig 2. So I thought that maybe someone commented and if a comment is deleted , it's not getting deleted from database.
So I tried with a dummy comment and deleted it. But the result was surprising. The count decreased for both image one and two. But the count didn't decrease in image three.
@jywarren @gauravano @SidharthBansal What's your views regarding this ?
Hi @CleverFool77 I think this is not supposed to be happening. Do you perhaps know why it's so? You want to track it down or need some help? 馃槉
Hi @CleverFool77 @siaw23, it's a bug. The comment count differs because at some places, spam, comments which are in moderation are also counted.
This issue is partially reported at #4905 and @Anjalizi has decided to work on this. The part which is not reported in #4905 is the inconsistency in number on /notes page. If you don't mind can I open FTOs for that part?
Thanks!
@siaw23 Thanks for the response. I guess it was already tracked down in previous issue.
Yeah @gauravano It would be great idea to make fto issue for the bug in /notes section.
Thanks
Hey @siaw23 I saw you call yourself a rubyist :smile: .So I would like to have some idea regarding some basic on ruby projects to worked on. Till now, I've written some programming codes in ruby. But not a fully-fledged project. I would like to have some insight regarding this. :nerd_face:
I'm designer and developer, and have worked with frameworks of python and Javascript.
