Plots2: Identification of redundant or time consuming gems

Subpart of #4362

So, it is possible that some of the gems being used/(not being used but installed.) may be slowing up the loading of our website. So we need to identify such gems and possibly try to find out the alternatives to these gems. So this issue is going to require some good amount of research and observation.
