Planner: GitHub two-factor authentication support

Created on 14 Mar 2019  路  3Comments  路  Source: alainm23/planner

I just downloaded the application and tried to connect it to GitHub, but I have two-factor authentication turned on. When I receive the SMS from GitHub with the one-time password, there is not a dialog in the Planner app to insert the OTP.

I'd like support for two-factor protected GitHub accounts to authenticate with Planner

I did consider disabling two-factor authentication on my GitHub account, but I am not sure if that will also (undesirably) reset the authentication for other applications I have connected to GitHub.

Here's what i get when i try to connect my account:

Apr 23 13:01:43 sinix com.github.alai[15953]: json_object_get_string_member: assertion 'node != NULL' failed
Apr 23 13:01:43 sinix com.github.alai[15953]: services_github_get_username_data: assertion 'token != NULL' failed

Sorry, Planner 2 no longer has support for Github Issues.
