Pixi.js: Can I turn off the color banner in the console that Pixi adds?

That pink background and the red hearts were kind of funny the first time, but it's starting to become annoying. Can I turn it off somehow? I don't want it to advertise itself like that, especially not for distribution mode.

@artifex404 why are you commenting on a 4 year old post? If you want to disable the banner, you know how. It's a trivial thing to add to your source. Don't be lazy.

There really isn't a problem with it, even when distributed. It is only in the dev console and doesn't take anything away from your application when released. It is like having a "Unreal Engine" splash at game startup time, but way _way_ more subtle.

If you _must_ turn it off, you can set PIXI.dontSayHello = true.

I _so_ reckon Pixi ought to charge a license fee if you disable the banner ;)

I do not agree @photonstorm, Pixi is released under the MIT License, so as long you keep the copyright notices in the source code of the library you're free to modify the source. For example setting PIXI.dontSayHello = true by default in the source code.

The banner is garbled for me (in Chrome):

I have <meta charset="UTF-8"> in my HEAD element, but seem to remember always having had this issue with PIXI (well over a year, maybe two). Thinking about it, I've never even seen the proper banner. I just got used to the broken one and stopped noticing it after a while.
