Photoprism: Feature Request: Filter for photos that are not assigned to any album

Created on 22 Aug 2020  路  3Comments  路  Source: photoprism/photoprism

I have a large photo collection and I'm currently trying to create various albums and assign pictures to them. Since it's a big collection I can't do it all in one go. So currently, whenever I continue where I left off I have to scroll down through the infinite scroll and rediscover the position where I stopped assigning pictures to albums. This is quite tedious.

It would be great, if there was some kind of way to achieving this a bit more comfortably. For instance, via a filter that shows pictures that are not assigned to any album:

assigned_to_album:False

Or maybe via a conjunction of negated album filters: i.e.

not:album:"Album Name" not:album:"Album Name 2"

Try unsorted:true

Fantastic! Thank you! I checked the list of filters in the docs, but this one I overlooked as I didn't know what it was doing. A short explanation for each filter in the docs could be good :-)

Wasn't smart enough to come up with a better name... You'll also find it somewhat hidden in the navigation:
