Papirus-icon-theme: [VOTE] New icon File Manager

@SmartFinn folders have blue color and with pink it's not good looking. Earlier used yellow folders... but now blue!

I prefer the new icon, but in gray colors, like a metallic material (as a real file manager).

Something like that:

IMHO, the "folders" icon is difficult to recognize in small sizes (it is easy to be confused with other folders icons) and does not represent the concept of "file manager" as well as a "file manager". ;)

What do you think?

Metallic not possible, because uses warm tone colors on all icons.

Is there anyway to use the variant with the front color folder the original icon color? I like the variant because of the multi color folders but the front color grey is not as nice as the color from the original.

On KDE icon theme used grey folders, it's style for plasma theme and etc... And blue... very many blue colors - qbittorrrent, telegram, ktorrent, workspace switcher and folders (for GTK / Papirus-Arc-Dark for KDE)

gray - it's not gray, i mean #cccccc emulate white color, because real white #fffffff not used on Papirus - it's spoil style with light GTK-themes and colors icon background merged with window color.

This last gray one is better than the first but I love the blue one because I run KDE Plasma 5 so I am partial to blue :)

I did not really like the pink one because colour was very washed out and did not go with a lot of colour schemes/themes. The purple one is ok for me (better than the pink) but perhaps the shape/design is not as classy as the file folder shape. Colour may also be too bold for some people but hey, Faba/Moka uses a lavender folder icon.

I use XFCE, MATE and Cinnamon and like to add the file manager icon as a launcher to the panel. I see nothing wrong with keeping to the same blue folder icon that is used within the file manager to indicate folders/directories, because that will make for a consistent look. It looks good on the panel and it doesn't bother me that there are so many blue icons.

But if you feel there are really too many blue icons, I really like these 2 new looks you have proposed:

These are classy and will go well on either a light or dark panel.

The 3rd one you proposed is too light on a light panel.

I do love the Paper theme as well.

However Paper's file manager icon is a bit light against a light background. Also, I personally like a bit more colour in my icons. Papirus can differentiate itself in its bolder use of colour.

Why you use Papirus?

Because it is based on Paper, so Papirus is beautiful too. In addition, it is more complete and it has a lot of features other icon themes don't.

I don't mean Paper is better than Papirus or vice versa. These themes are similar and different at same time and this is great for me.

I love Papirus, but some Paper icons are really beautiful. And the File Manager icon is one of them.
