Support in consumer and provider tests for JUnit 5 would be awesome. We're planning to migrate to JUnit 5 and the missing support in Pact is currently preventing us to do so.

@thombergs: JUnit 5 lets you execute JUnit 4 test cases. Just use junit-platform-console-standalone-x.y.z.jar and the Pact tests are executed as vintage tests.

You're right of course, didn't think of that.
Nevertheless, native JUnit5 support would be a great feature.
