Oshi: OSHI is getting popular

OSHI downloads increased fivefold in 2018

We're a dependency in some cool projects.

One fun fact to see on that list is JPPF, a project I was contributing to before OSHI. I came to OSHI when trying to monitor memory usage in a distributed network of cloud servers. JPPF was using Java's OperatingSystemMXBean's free physical memory method which was useless on Linux, and I went hunting for better alternatives. OSHI had the same issue but was more easily fixed -- which got me contributing here, and the rest is history. Good to see that JPPF finally updated to use my improved code!

I had recently abandoned SIGAR in my application and was in the process of writing my own solution when I found OSHI. I'm glad that I did because I would have never been able to reproduce some of those WMI classes alone. I've always been interested in the problem that OSHI solves and I'd be happy to be a comaintainer someday.

Anyway, thanks for the hard work and here's to another fivefold increase in 2019!
