Would it be possible to build RPM packages for Openshift Origin v1.4.0 and release them on the Centos PaaS repository? As of today, the most recent packages I can see at http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/paas/x86_64/openshift-origin/ are for Openshift Origin v1.3.1.
I can install packages from the testing repository at buildlogs.centos.org before official release.
Thank you in advance @tdawson
Yep, although I'm also going to build version 1.3.3 first.
FYI I have successfully tested your experimental v1.3.3 packages from buildlogs.centos.org. I managed to provision the whole cluster and successfully deploy applications.
origin-1.4.0-2.el7 and openshift-ansible-3.4.55-1.el7 are now
available for testing in the Paas testing repo.
yum --enablerepo=centos-openshift-origin-testing list origin openshift-ansible
Thanks @tdawson , I will play with the v1.4.0 packages as soon as I can :)
Just letting you know that 1.4.1 is in testing. Our current plan is to release it to the mirrors next week unless there are major problems found.
I will free some time to play with it this weekend and will return my feedback here. Thank you very much.
Hi @tdawson , I got some time to play with your packages and they look good to me. You will find in IshentRas/cookbook-openshift3#60 my detailled comments and what I had to do to update the chef cookbook for the new version.
Hello,
Any idea when the packages for 1.4.1 will be releases on the Centos PaaS repository?
Thanks!
Alberto
Hi @AlbertoPeon , it seems that the packages have been released now, check http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/paas/x86_64/openshift-origin/
Great! Thanks!
Yep, didn't want to update until I saw them on the mirrors. They are there now, along with supporting packages.
origin-1.4.1-1.el7
ansible-2.2.1.0-2.el7 (Patched so it doesn't break us. Patch will be in 2.2.2 or 2.2.1.1 official)
openshift-ansible-3.4.56-1.el7
Closing this issue.
Thank you very much @tdawson
