Orgzly-android: Repeat features extension for date picker
You know sometimes user like to specify date like last day of month in repeatedly tasks, this is variable, another maybe some specified days of week, etc. An extended&customized date picker seems to be need.

There are 3 buttons already (today, tomorrow, next week), I think adding more would make the dialog cluttered. Opening calendar is only one more click away.

If Orgzly is to be a professional todo tool, more advanced features for date picking is strongly recommended. They will meet objective demands more than a solitary date currently.

Perhaps current buttons could be made configurable. With this layout, I'd be OK with adding one more. Or turning the 3 buttons into one spinner, but that's one more click away.
New layout suggestions are welcome though.

OK, apparently I misunderstood you completely, I though you're only referring to 3 buttons above date (day shortcuts).
Thanks for the doc.
Some of these are not part of repeat but the whole timestamp, or range (like "until") and some are limited by org mode's timestamp format and would require implementing support for sexp diary entries, if they were to be kept across syncs using org format.
I agree this dialog needs major improvements. If nothing, it's pretty confusing now for non-org mode user.

I was just about to open an issue, but the proposal of @NiceFeather about the days of the week is just what I need. Current situation:
I need to be notified about a task I must do at work from Monday to Friday but I don't want to be bothered about it at weekends, I need a funcionality similar to the Android alarm to be able to set the repeater for all days of the week but weekends.
To me this is a frecuent use case I am surprised no one else complained about this before!
PS: maybe not the right place but I really love org-mode and Orgzly, thanks for your time!
