Currently pubovl-like tools are the only ways of recording the use of hacks in game for evidence for admin. There is a modified version of 0.0.12 that has pubovl added but this feature is needed in future releases until something better can be developed.
I know you want it to record hackers, but isn't it a bit too easy to abuse ?
This way, any guy can have a comrade spectating him and using the included wallhack to prevent him from being trapped or surprised. He would have an indirect "legit" wallhack, even though it's not as effective as a true hack.
However it could be a thing if we have pure OS servers, so this can be managed server-side and can't be used that easily to help a friend cheating.
Maybe I'm over-worrying, idk.
I mean, you can already go into spectator mode and check. The bigger issue for me is that it makes it much easier to write a wallhack. All you need to do is delete the "only allow wallhack if you are spectator" check.
