Openshot-qt: how to cover a license plate ??

how to you cover up a license plate, like put a fog over it so viewers can't read the license plate.

You could create or grab an image of a rectangle, import it into OpenShot and place it on the timeline on a track above your video that shows the license plate.

The rectangle will probably need to be scaled to only cover the plate and then you can use the transform feature to relocate the rectangle over the license plate every so often (how often depends on how shaky the camera is or how much the license plate is moving). The transform feature uses keyframes and will interpolate the positions between the keyframes that you place the license plate within.

If you wanna make it pretty, you can apply a blur effect to the rectangle to make it a little fuzzy.

Transparency may be required in the original image if the rectangle doesn't fill the entire image, so that the area without the rectangle is totally transparent.
