Openshot-qt: OpenShot gives a "Not Responding" message ALL the time

System Details:

Operating System / Distro: 6 cores AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 16 GB RAM, X370 MSI motherboard, Windows 10
OpenShot Version: 2.4.1

Issue Description and steps to reproduce:

Almost every activity I input (dragging, right-clicking, cutting etc.) leads to a "Not Responding" message. After 10 seconds or so, OpenShot starts working again. Makes it virtually unusable. Have already re-installed OpenShot, to no avail. My (brandnew) PC works fine outside of OpenShot.

Could you please try using the latest daily build of the program? Please head over to the download page and click on 'daily builds' and grab the latest one and see if it works using that.

This is a problem again. It seems a bit off to have "Get the latest build" be the answer with no explanation at all. I'm having the problem right now, and I have had a friend switch to a different software because of the same issue. Having "get the latest build" be the answer is just a time waster for people who are searching.
